Florida Blueberry Cobbler

Ingredients
Filling:
1 stick butter ( 4 oz.)
1 tsp. lemon juice
4 c. fresh blueberries, rinsed and drained
1 c. sugar

Topping:
1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1/2 c. milk

Directions:

1. Filling: Preheat oven to 375°F.

2. Place the butter in an 8x8-inch square glass baking dish (no substitutes), and melt the butter in the microwave.

3. In a mixing bowl, combine lemon juice and blueberries. Add the sugar and mix well. Add the blueberry mixture to the baking dish with the melted butter. Do not stir.

4. Combine all of the topping ingredients in a small bowl. Pour this mixture over the blueberries and bake 45 min. or until brown.

5. Serve with fresh whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
